Description
World War 2 CC41 utility draws renovated back to their original state.
3 solid draws with original handles covered with a fresh layer of black paint, fixed with the original rose centres. This piece has been sanded back to the original wood with a clear coat varnish to protect the wood. 1 of the draws is a bit stiff to open and close, the other 2 are good. The back of these draws has the CC41 stamp.
The CC41 utility draws were created from a government scheme during World War 2 in 1941 when there was a shortage of materials. These items were offered to newlyweds or families that had their belongings destroyed from the bombing.
This piece is looking for a new home to be loved all over again.
